Word list rules
- 4 to 12 words per list, 3 to 13 letters per word.
- Spaces, hyphens and accents are removed: ice cream becomes ICECREAM.
- A word cannot sit inside another word in the same list, forwards or backwards, or it would appear twice.
- The form checks all of this as you type.

For personal and classroom use: print as many copies as your household or class needs. One pack can hold a whole half-term of spelling lists, one word search per week.

Questions
Can I use names in the word lists?+
Yes. Names work well, as long as each is 3 to 13 letters. Spaces are removed from two-word names.
What is the difference between kids and grown-ups?+
Kids' grids run words across, down and diagonally down to the right. Grown-up grids use all directions, including backwards.
How quickly do I get my pack?+
Straight away. The pack is built as soon as payment goes through, and the download page opens. We email you the link too.
What if I make a typo?+
The form shows your words before you pay, so check them there. If a mistake slips through, email us and we will rebuild the pack with the correct words.
Can I add a logo or pictures?+
No. Personalized packs use your names, titles and words with our clean puzzle layout. We do not add logos, photos or illustrations.
Are the puzzles checked?+
Yes. Every maze has exactly one route and every word appears exactly once in its grid. A word list that would break that, such as FISH with STARFISH, is flagged in the form.
