Choose an adult activity book by the mood you want. For calm, a large print word search is familiar and easy to put down. For focus, graded sudoku gives a challenge that grows with you. A printable pack lets you print a single page or the whole set, as often as you like.

Word search is the classic relaxing puzzle: you know what you are looking for, progress is steady, and you can stop at any time. Sudoku asks for more concentration, and the satisfaction of a finished grid is greater for it. Many people keep both and pick by how their day has gone.
An activity book that is the same difficulty throughout is either finished in a day or abandoned. Our sudoku climbs through four levels, fifteen puzzles each, set by how many numbers are given at the start: 40, 34, 30 and finally 26.
For older solvers, print size and contrast count for more than anything else. The large print word search is set in bold type on a spacious grid, one puzzle per page, and both packs print in black on white. One puzzle per sheet also makes them easy to hand out in a group activity.
Because the packs are PDFs, you can print one page for a waiting room, a week's worth for a holiday, or a fresh copy of a puzzle that went wrong. Nothing is used up.
Every puzzle in our packs is generated and then checked by computer before it is allowed into a pack. Anything that fails a check is thrown away and replaced.
