A studio service

Maze books, every route checked.

A maze is a promise that there is exactly one way through. We design maze books from wide toddler paths to dense adult puzzles, drawn as scenes rather than bare grids where the age calls for it, with each maze solved after it is drawn and the solution kept as the answer page.

N° 01What goes in the book

From three turns to three hundred.

01

Toddler and preschool paths

Wide single-route paths with a character at the start and a reward at the end, drawn as a picture.

02

Scene mazes

Mazes built into an illustration: a castle, a reef, a city, where the walls are part of the picture.

03

Shape and grid mazes

Circles, animals and letters as the maze outline, and classic grid mazes with dead ends for older children.

04

Adult and extreme mazes

Dense mazes with long false routes, laid out one per page for solvers who want a long sit.

05

Themed books

Dinosaurs, space, vehicles, ocean, a single theme that carries the whole book.

06

Solutions

Every maze with its route marked, small and at the back.

N° 02The part that goes wrong

No way through, or two.

01

Unsolvable or multi-route mazes

Every maze is solved after it is drawn to confirm one complete route, and the solved version becomes the answer page.

02

Paths too narrow for the age

A three-year-old uses a chunky crayon. Path width and wall thickness are set for the age band.

03

Difficulty that jumps

Mazes are ordered from easier to harder within one age band, so the book builds rather than frustrates.

04

Generated-looking grids

A book of identical rectangular grids reads as filler. Scenes, shapes and varied layouts keep the pages distinct.

N° 03How it runs

Plan first, artwork after.

01

1. Page plan

We agree the age band, the mix of scene, shape and grid mazes, the theme and the number of mazes, then list every one before drawing.

02

2. Sample pages

Two or three finished pages in the agreed look, so you approve the style and the difficulty before the rest is made.

03

3. Full interior

Every page produced to the plan, with answers or instructions where the format needs them, then one consolidated round of changes.

04

4. Cover and files

Cover design, front matter and print-ready files at your trim size, set to your printer's or platform's template.

N° 05Questions

The answers we give most often.

How hard should a maze be for each age?
As a working guide: one wide route for ages two to three, a few dead ends for ages four to five, real branching for ages six and up, and long false routes for adults. We confirm the level on sample pages.
Do you make maze books for adults?
Yes. Adult mazes are denser, printed one per page, and often themed, and they are solved before layout like every other maze.
Are the mazes drawn or generated?
Each maze is drawn for your book and then solved by hand to confirm the route. Scene and shape mazes in particular cannot be produced by a generator.
Can it be printed through Amazon KDP?
Yes. A maze book is a standard paperback, usually at a large trim size, and we set the files to KDP's template or your printer's.
Do I own the mazes?
Yes, with full commercial rights and the source files.
